About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build capabilities, operating models, insights, technology, partnerships, and governance connecting social media, content experiences, and influencer and creator marketing
  • Connect social media and content experience strategies across search, AI-enabled discovery, social platforms, and digital research journeys
  • Identify ecosystem opportunities that strengthen visibility, relevance, consideration, trust, and business growth
  • Translate changes in client behavior, technology, platforms, and discovery patterns into enterprise recommendations and priorities
  • Align stakeholders around roadmaps, decision rights, capabilities, and outcomes
  • Advance social media ecosystem capabilities and infrastructure
  • Enable connected planning, publishing, distribution, optimization, reuse, maintenance, and retirement of content
  • Connect creator content with planning, distribution, paid media, measurement, technology, governance, and optimization
  • Improve coordination across organic and paid social, influencer and creator marketing, executive programs, teammate advocacy, community engagement, social listening, content experiences, and reputation management
  • Establish scalable standards and workflows for quality, consistency, accessibility, efficiency, and brand alignment
  • Develop shared KPIs and measurement frameworks
  • Integrate analytics, social listening, audience intelligence, search insights, creator performance, and other data
  • Deliver executive dashboards and actionable optimization recommendations
  • Coordinate agency, platform, technology, and vendor relationships
  • Evaluate solutions improving discovery, engagement, measurement, workflow efficiency, governance, and enterprise value
  • Partner with Procurement, Legal, Risk, and other stakeholders on selection, contracting, oversight, and performance management
  • Own and maintain enterprise social media and content policies, procedures, standards, controls, guidelines, and documentation
  • Incorporate influencer and creator marketing into governance, disclosure, review, escalation, and control processes
  • Develop operating models, workflows, playbooks, training, and adoption resources
  • Support approval processes, access management, crisis response, retention, recordkeeping, audits, risk assessments, issue management, and remediation
  • Balance innovation and business enablement with brand protection and responsible risk management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education and related training
  • Seven years of related social media experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Deep specialized and/or broad knowledge within the marketing and social media or related discipline
  • Comprehensive understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes
  • Ability to interpret business challenges and implement best practices
  • Ability to lead complex, high-risk projects and a team of professionals
  • Independent judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges
  • Sophisticated analytical and complex problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence others to adopt a new perspective
  • Knowledge of the industry’s competitive landscape and relevant market and regulatory factors
  • Ability to work all scheduled hours, including overtime as directed
  • Master’s degree or MBA and banking industry experience preferred
  • Experience developing digital marketing strategies that drive traffic and conversions preferred
  • Experience applying agile marketing methodologies to large enterprise, cross-functional teams preferred
  • Working knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, Python, and SQL preferred
  • Working knowledge of American Disabilities Act compliance requirements preferred
  • Experience with Adobe products preferred
  • Experience with email service providers, marketing automation, and CRM platforms preferred
  • Experience with APIs, ad servers, dynamic tag managers, marketing automation platforms, content management systems, A/B testing, and personalization tools preferred
  • Excellent understanding of HTML for email and ability to code templates preferred
  • Proficiency in algebraic Boolean logic expressions for queries and hyper-segmentation preferred
