Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze macroeconomic data, economic releases, and monetary and fiscal policy developments to identify key trends, changes in the economic outlook, and implications for interest rates, financial markets, and Corporate Treasury
  • Evaluate and synthesize complex quantitative and qualitative economic information, applying judgment to distinguish significant developments from short-term market noise
  • Develop timely, evidence-based perspectives on major economic releases and policy announcements
  • Support Corporate Treasury’s understanding of the macroeconomic environment and inform interest-rate risk discussions and positioning
  • Translate complex economic and market information into clear, concise, and accessible research materials
  • Create economic updates, charts, presentations, and executive-level communications
  • Prepare economic and market analysis for executive committees, internal forums, leadership discussions, and speaking engagements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, data science or a related field
  • Experience with Bloomberg, economic and financial databases, spreadsheets, data visualization, and presentation software
  • Demonstrated ability to process complex datasets and discern noise from signal
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
  • English language fluency required
  • Progress towards a CFA or Master’s degree preferred
  • Experience with asset liability management or large financial organization preferred
