About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support senior ABL Structuring and Asset Management teammates in underwriting and closing ABL transactions and portfolio management
  • Ultimately take full ownership of assigned opportunities
  • Develop deep ABL subject matter expertise and apply knowledge to value-added ideas
  • Perform thorough qualitative and quantitative analysis and identify and quantify risk
  • Mentor and develop analyst teammates
  • Adhere to risk and compliance policies and guidelines
  • Work with originations, legal, compliance, risk, and operations partners to align strategic objectives and facilitate execution
  • Take ownership of projects in coordination with Credit Delivery leadership
  • Demonstrate Truist culture and values

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS degree
  • Series 79 license
  • Series 63 license
  • SIE
  • 3+ years of related work experience
  • Strong technical skills including financial analysis, modeling, and presentation
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills that foster teamwork, trust, and accountability
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to distill complex data into concise and relevant issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High adaptability and flexibility
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to collaborate across functional areas to facilitate execution
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • MBA degree with Finance focus (preferred)
  • Prior experience as an analyst in a financial institution (preferred)
  • English language fluency required
