About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build, and implement enterprise infrastructure technologies through the Rubrik product suite
- Lead automation, AI, and Infrastructure-as-Code delivery to enable scalable, secure, and reliable business operations
- Apply automation, monitoring, and optimization techniques to ensure high availability and infrastructure performance
- Manage infrastructure engineering projects and processes aligned with organizational policies and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to integrate new technologies and improve infrastructure standards and processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues affecting infrastructure performance and reliability
- Support compliance with technology strategies, standards, and governance to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory adherence
- Review and guide infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures for operational consistency and knowledge sharing
- Provide technical guidance and direction to lower-level technical professionals
- Develop technical solutions through deep analysis of infrastructure systems and lead infrastructure processes
- Communicate technical complexity in plain language to executive and technical audiences
- Operate across legacy technologies, modernization efforts, and emerging capabilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering
- Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies including cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, and middleware
- 5+ years of experience with Rubrik-based enterprise data protection platforms
- 3+ years of experience designing and supporting solutions across AWS and Azure cloud platforms
- 3+ years of experience leading Infrastructure-as-Code automation using Python, including Rubrik workflow automation
- Experience using Rally to manage Agile work, user stories, and feature delivery
- Experience using Confluence for technical documentation and knowledge management
- 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow, including CMDB, incident, change, and problem management
- Proficiency in GitLab CI/CD pipeline authoring, including multi-stage pipelines, runners, environments, and security scanning integration
- Working knowledge of Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform, including playbook authoring, inventory management, and AAP workflow templates
- 1-2+ years of experience applying AI models and Infrastructure-as-Code to automate operational workflows
- Proficiency with SRE telemetry tools such as Splunk and Grafana, including dashboard building
- Proficiency with Python frameworks such as FastAPI and Django
- Master’s degree in relevant technical discipline (preferred)
- Experience working in a regulated financial services environment where compliance constraints directly shape technical architecture decisions
- Experience with OPA (Open Policy Agent) and policy-as-code patterns in pipeline enforcement contexts
- Infrastructure-as-code competency in Terraform or equivalent, with demonstrated deployment experience in Azure and/or AWS environments
- English language fluency required
- Must not require employer sponsorship for work visa status or employment authorization
