Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build, and implement enterprise data transmission, managed file transfer, secure file exchange, and connectivity platforms
  • Apply automation, monitoring, and optimization techniques to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance
  • Manage infrastructure engineering projects and processes aligned with organizational policies and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to integrate new technologies and improve infrastructure standards and processes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues affecting infrastructure performance and reliability
  • Support compliance with technology strategies, standards, and governance
  • Review and guide infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures
  • Provide technical guidance and direction to lower-level technical professionals
  • Develop technical solutions through analysis of data transmission workflows, file transfer platforms, and connectivity services
  • Lead infrastructure processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies including cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, and middleware
  • English language fluency required
  • Must not require visa sponsorship or employment authorization sponsorship
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline
  • Preferred: Experience in the financial services industry
  • Preferred: Industry certifications such as CCIE, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent
  • Preferred: Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Preferred: Strong knowledge and experience with managed file transfer platforms, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2, automation, and technical solution implementation
  • Preferred: Experience managing IT infrastructure projects and supporting large-scale file transmission environments
  • Preferred: Experience utilizing AI-powered tools and technologies to optimize engineering workflows, automate operational processes, improve productivity, and drive innovation within infrastructure and data transmission environments
