About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own full lifecycle relationships and holistic product performance for Dealer Commercial business in assigned markets
  • Offer loan, deposit, Capital Markets, Treasury, Risk Management, and other fee-based services to existing and prospective clients
  • Partner with Truist Securities, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, and other product teams to deliver client solutions
  • Develop and execute marketing plans to win new relationships and expand existing relationships
  • Drive portfolio revenue growth and new production revenue
  • Contribute to credit decisioning, including financial statement analysis, credit structuring, underwriting, policy knowledge, and risk mitigation
  • Develop new business relationships and improve market share with dealer clients and prospects
  • Manage Integrated Relationship Management with partners in client planning, sales meetings, call planning, joint calling, and custom solution delivery
  • Manage large and complex corporate relationships and maintain expertise in finance and complex credit products
  • Execute risk, operational, policy, and quality expectations for the assigned portfolio
  • Identify M&A, financial sponsor, and complex capital markets opportunities
  • Provide advisory services and high service levels while delivering balance sheet quality, profitability, growth, risk management, and return metrics
  • Deliver banking functions including Indirect Retail, Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Deposit/Treasury/Merchant/Card, Insurance, Corporate Finance, Capital Markets, and IRM services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in commercial banking, preferably in Dealer Commercial Banking
  • Strong interpersonal communications; ability to identify, prospect, acquire and manage large, complex Automotive and related client relationships
  • Highly skilled and proficient in most aspects of corporate finance, Capital Markets, Leverage Finance/Syndicated Finance, M&A, Treasury, and other non-credit services
  • Ability to grasp complex credits clearly; insightful in all aspects of finance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
  • English language fluency required
