About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop marketing, merchandising, and creative strategies to promote and sell Truist products and services through digital channels
  • Manage online marketing programs and analyze their effectiveness using online strategies and marketing automation platforms
  • Execute demand generation strategies supporting client journeys, sales, revenue, market share, profitability, acquisition, retention, cross-sells, and self-service adoption
  • Monitor social media platforms, online communities, review sites, brand mentions, client feedback, industry developments, and emerging issues
  • Support enterprise incident monitoring by tracking conversations, gathering intelligence, and providing updates during incidents and high-profile events
  • Analyze social and digital data to identify trends, sentiment shifts, client concerns, and reputational risks
  • Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards, reports, alerts, and listening queries
  • Compile and distribute recurring reports on brand sentiment, conversation volume, emerging topics, and monitoring metrics
  • Escalate issues and trends according to monitoring and incident management procedures
  • Partner with internal stakeholders on monitoring support, research, business initiatives, campaigns, and reputation concerns
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and research for communications, marketing, client experience, and risk management
  • Maintain and optimize listening taxonomies, keyword searches, and monitoring workflows
  • Research, develop, and execute digital strategies for Truist online channels
  • Develop web, social media, email marketing, marketing automation, paid advertising, SEO, and content marketing tactics
  • Develop product-specific digital marketing roadmaps with lines of business and marketing strategists
  • Apply consumer behavior models and user journeys to banking products and services
  • Use web analytics and performance data to refine strategies, improve conversion rates, enhance client experiences, and track KPIs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional technical and management teams
  • Research industry trends, competitive environments, and emerging technologies and adjust strategies
  • Be available periodically after hours and on weekends for crises, incidents, or ad-hoc needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education and related training
  • Four years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies, including marketing, market research, analytics, and digital marketing
  • Experience managing projects or project workstreams as an individual contributor
  • Knowledge of the industry’s competitive landscape and factors differentiating Truist and its competitors
  • Ability to interpret and explain complex information to varied audiences and build stakeholder consensus
  • Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work all scheduled hours, including overtime as directed and required by business needs
  • English language fluency required
