About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor, coordinate, escalate, and support restoration activities for enterprise technology services
  • Ensure operational stability and minimize business impact
  • Serve as a central coordination point during technology incidents, major incidents, service degradations, and operational events
  • Deliver technology operations for assigned systems or services to meet performance, availability, reliability, and security targets
  • Execute defined processes and maintain technology standards, runbooks, and governance patterns
  • Lead components of larger initiatives and moderately complex technical or operational improvement efforts
  • Analyze tools and processes, evaluate emerging technologies and automation, and implement efficiency and reliability improvements
  • Provide technical guidance and informal coaching through design and code reviews, troubleshooting, and documentation
  • Translate technical and business requirements into implementation plans and recommendations
  • Collaborate with vendors, partners, and adjacent teams on integration, solution design, and operational expectations
  • Monitor and analyze operational metrics, logs, and observability data to identify issues and drive continuous improvement
  • Perform incident response for medium-to-high priority issues, including identification, triage, troubleshooting, and restoration
  • Contribute to incident management, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures
  • Lead technical investigation and resolution for significant incidents within the assigned domain

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in technology operations
  • Advanced understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, security, compliance, and risk management
  • Proven track record in technology governance, strategic planning, and operational excellence
  • English language fluency required
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; Truist will not sponsor work visas or employment authorization
  • Preferred: experience supporting financial services, banking, or other highly regulated industries
  • Preferred: experience supporting Technology Incident Management and Major Incident Management functions within a large enterprise environment
  • Preferred: experience coordinating Quick Response activities, incident bridge calls, and enterprise service restoration efforts
  • Preferred: experience using ServiceNow Incident Management, Major Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management processes
  • Preferred: experience working within an Integrated Command Center, Network Operations Center, Security Operations Center, or similar centralized operations environment
  • Preferred certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation; ITIL Managing Professional
