About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Escrow specialists overseeing complex servicing functions
- Oversee property tax operations and vendor management
- Oversee property insurance operations and vendor management
- Oversee optional insurance, flood zone property tracking, escrow analysis processing, and interest on escrow
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to promote accuracy, accountability, and efficiency
- Address performance gaps and reinforce expectations aligned with compliance and operational goals
- Build a forward-thinking team environment focused on risk awareness and compliant decision-making
- Direct and manage day-to-day operations in line with service-level expectations
- Establish priorities and distribute workloads to support productivity, efficiency, and balanced capacity
- Monitor performance trends, turn times, backlog, and completion rates
- Reinforce time-management practices and deadline achievement in a high-volume environment
- Drive accountability across teams at multiple sites, offshore teams, and vendor teams
- Improve workflow efficiency, reduce rework, and streamline processes while maintaining compliance
- Monitor performance metrics, productivity, and quality results
- Ensure compliance with servicing SLAs, regulatory requirements, investor guidelines, and internal escrow policies
- Lead audit engagements with internal partners to demonstrate process expertise, effectiveness, and risk mitigation
- Oversee large financial transactions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5+ years of mortgage servicing or loan operations experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of mortgage servicing systems, such as MSP
- Knowledge of investor guidelines including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and VA
- Ability to interpret legal, financial, and investor documentation
- Advanced understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements, including CFPB and federal and state laws
- Strong knowledge of mortgage servicing and regulatory requirements, including Rex X and NFIP
- Must be eligible to manage or perform loan origination or servicing functions under Mortgage Investor or government agency guideline requirements
- English language fluency required
