About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor supporting Privacy, Cybersecurity, Information Security, and Data Protection initiatives
  • Manage information security projects, programs, and operational processes aligned with organizational policies and regulatory requirements
  • Act as a trusted delegate and secondary representative for leadership in meetings with executives, senior leaders, regulators, and key stakeholders
  • Establish, track, and complete projects, deliverables, action items, and strategic initiatives on schedule
  • Conduct threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing
  • Monitor system access and embed forensic tools for attack detection, investigation, and reconstruction
  • Respond strategically to security incidents and coordinate incident response activities
  • Support large-scale cybersecurity, privacy, and compromised data response efforts
  • Evaluate data risk, regulatory obligations, client notification requirements, and business impacts associated with security incidents
  • Deploy identity and access management, data protection, and security best practices
  • Collaborate with internal teams to safeguard against unauthorized access and data breaches
  • Implement and support security technologies, privacy tools, and data protection solutions
  • Provide operational support, hands-on troubleshooting, and analysis across security and privacy technologies
  • Leverage AI-enabled technologies and analytical agents for investigations, incident analysis, decision-making, and risk assessments
  • Develop technical solutions through analysis of technical security and privacy systems
  • Review, analyze, and modify data queries and reporting logic for investigations, incident response, and operational needs
  • Provide technical guidance for security-related projects, initiatives, and processes
  • Enforce security policies, standards, and procedures
  • Develop executive-level presentations, status reports, briefing materials, and communications

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in information security
  • Strong knowledge of data security, privacy laws, regulatory compliance, and advanced security technologies
  • Experience in threat analysis, vulnerability testing, incident response, and forensic methodologies
  • English language fluency required
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in relevant technical discipline
  • Preferred: Experience in the financial services industry
  • Preferred: Professional certifications in IAPP (CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, AIGP, etc.)
  • Preferred: Experience working with Snowflake
  • Preferred: Advanced professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent
  • Preferred: Knowledge of enterprise security architectures, risk management frameworks, and cutting-edge security technologies
  • Preferred: Experience managing technical projects or processes
  • Preferred: Experience supporting privacy, cybersecurity, data protection, incident response, governance, risk, and compliance programs
  • Preferred: Ability to work effectively with executive leadership and present information to senior stakeholders
  • Preferred: Experience serving in a Chief of Staff, strategic operations, program management, or similar leadership-support capacity
  • Preferred: Knowledge of data privacy regulations, breach response requirements, and regulatory notification obligations
  • Preferred: Experience coordinating responses to compromised data events and large-scale security incidents
  • Preferred: Familiarity with AI-enabled analysis, automation, and decision-support technologies
  • Preferred: Experience working with SQL or similar query languages, including reviewing, interpreting, and modifying existing queries
  • Preferred: Technical background in software development, data analytics, cybersecurity operations, or information security engineering
