About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, direct, and implement enterprise infrastructure solutions across hybrid cloud, data center, network, compute, storage, platform, database, and middleware domains
Shape enterprise hosting strategy and design scalable, secure, resilient, and reliable infrastructure solutions
Lead strategic infrastructure initiatives, including data center buildout, resiliency, and complex application and infrastructure migrations
Establish operational plans for the technical area of responsibility with 0–3 year impact
Develop and apply advanced automation, monitoring, and optimization techniques for infrastructure availability and performance
Lead large, complex, strategically important infrastructure initiatives involving cross-departmental teams
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to integrate technologies and improve infrastructure standards and processes
Troubleshoot and resolve complex critical issues affecting infrastructure performance and reliability
Ensure compliance with technology strategies, standards, governance, and regulatory requirements
Document and communicate infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures
Provide advanced technical guidance and training to infrastructure teams and lower-level technical professionals
Influence infrastructure decisions and align solutions with business and technical objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering
Advanced knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies including cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, and middleware
English language fluency required
Preferred: Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline
Preferred: Experience in the financial services industry
Preferred: Industry certifications such as CCIE, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent
Preferred: Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Preferred: Expertise designing and delivering complex, distributed infrastructure solutions across hybrid cloud, data center, network, compute, storage, platform, and security domains
Preferred: Experience leading complex, enterprise-wide IT infrastructure initiatives and projects
Preferred: Ability to influence technical direction across organizational boundaries
Preferred: Experience designing and executing complex application and infrastructure migrations across hybrid cloud and data center environments
