About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the loan servicing and asset management functions for Grandbridge
- Ensure compliance with lender requirements and industry standards while effectively managing risk
- Provide executive oversight of Asset Management, Primary Servicing, and Master Servicing operations
- Set overall direction and goals and manage results for loan servicing and asset management subgroups
- Set organizational structure and reporting lines and assign departmental responsibilities
- Manage lender servicing relationships
- Negotiate lender servicing, vendor, and other agreements and evaluate additional or contracted services annually
- Support or directly review and approve compliance reporting, including USAP, Reg AB, internal audits, lender audits, and lender-initiated servicing reviews
- Administer applicable policies and procedures
- Represent the company at industry and lender conferences, working groups, peer groups, task forces, and councils
- Identify and assess loan-specific, lender-specific, and industry-specific portfolio risks
- Participate in developing company strategic initiatives as a member of the Grandbridge Senior Management team
- Attract, retain, and promote top talent with a strong focus on diversity and build successors for key leadership positions and opportunities across Truist
- Promote a cohesive, inclusive, team-oriented culture aligned with Truist’s purpose, mission, and values
- Promote sound risk management as the first line of defense and ensure compliance with Bank policies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate or related field, or equivalent education and related training
- Fifteen years of experience with commercial real estate, banking, finance or equivalent field
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage a large group of associates and responsibilities
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
- Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
- English language fluency required
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience (preferred)
- Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) or comparable industry designations (preferred)
- Fifteen years of real estate experience (preferred)
- Ten years of mortgage banking experience (preferred)
- Ten years of managerial experience (preferred)
- Relevant customer service experience (preferred)
- Experience with Master and Special Servicing (preferred)
