About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Research, analyze, and learn about target client segments and their financial needs
  • Analyze market and competitive environments to define differentiated product vision
  • Translate analyses into data-based recommendations
  • Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to align strategy and develop delivery roadmaps
  • Engage lines of business, operations, and functional areas in project planning and execution
  • Write epics and features and prioritize work across teams
  • Set Planning Increment vision, priorities, and definitions with product owners
  • Develop feature backlog roadmaps
  • Lead discovery, prototypes/wireframes, usability studies, partner demos, and web analytics planning
  • Obtain alignment and approvals from legal, compliance, security, fraud, and other partners
  • Partner to set pricing and ensure billing follows required processes
  • Create and track product metrics and share analysis with partners
  • Work with Readiness to create client- and teammate-facing content
  • Ensure Product Management Lifecycle processes and procedures are followed
  • Support security, risk, audit, and related activities, including action items, deadlines, and risk presentations
  • Attend Agile ceremonies as applicable
  • Develop and maintain strategic delivery roadmaps supporting business goals
  • Balance strategic product management, human-centered design, and product owner execution
  • Shape digital experiences to improve client experience, generate revenue, and enable cost savings while meeting risk, control, accessibility, security, and compliance expectations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelors’ degree in business, engineering, design, technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
  • Five or more years of banking, financial services, or other relevant work experience
  • Three or more years of product, analysis, technology, and/or design experience
  • Three or more years of leading cross functional teams
  • Experience defining/driving vision of experience programs and/or partnership based programs
  • Experience defining and delivering large-scale online initiatives
  • Ability to use data analytics, research, and testing methodologies to drive business decisions, diagnose problems, and recommend action plans
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Ability to manage concurrent projects in a fast-based, results-driven environment
  • Ability to work with ambiguity, lead work autonomously, and make independent decisions
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Experience creating and delivering succinct presentations to explain and sell plans/vision
  • English language fluency required
  • Ability to work all scheduled hours, including overtime as directed
  • Minimal travel, up to 10%
  • Preferred: Experience using modern AI-enabled tools
  • Preferred: Experience using data, analytics, client feedback, performance trends, and AI tools
  • Preferred: Previous experience as a Product Manager for Agile teams
  • Preferred: Experience working with distributed teams
  • Preferred: Certified SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager or equivalent
