About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute regulatory risk, external events, and quantitative asset governance requirements
  • Identify quantitative assets and execute governance, controls, testing, and monitoring for assigned business units
  • Assist with establishing and maturing quantitative asset risk management programs
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for quantitative asset management programs
  • Provide effective challenge to first-line design, updates, and changes
  • Identify efficiency and enhancement opportunities within model, QAM, and EUC frameworks, processes, and applications
  • Design and implement enhancements with key stakeholders
  • Monitor business partner adherence to QAM risk programs
  • Develop KRI/KPI metrics and share best practices with first-line partners and leaders
  • Design, establish, automate, and own analytical reporting for quantitative asset programs and regulatory, TAS, and first-line presentations
  • Liaise between first-line teammates and second-line risk program owners and partners
  • Establish working relationships with first- and second-line risk partners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or another business or risk management related area
  • One to three years of relevant experience in the financial industry or equivalent governance field
  • Experience in data science/analytics, model and/or EUC risk management, and/or governance, framework, and controls design and testing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing organizational priorities effectively
  • Ability to think critically and strategically, multitask, and drive change
  • Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills
  • Strong quantitative, governance, and analytic abilities
  • Ability to design, generate, execute, and effectively challenge analytical reporting
  • Experience with data science or BI applications such as Excel, Tableau, Python, or Snowflake
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office software products
  • English language fluency required
