About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide client relationship management and investment banking services to real estate clients
  • Provide strategic advisory services related to buyside and sellside M&A and debt and equity capital raising
  • Position Truist to provide treasury and payment solutions, private wealth, insurance, Grandbridge, and other services
  • Serve REITs and publicly traded homebuilders
  • Serve private CRE clients with strategic advisory and traditional investment banking services in partnership with Commercial Real Estate or Community Commercial Banking coverage professionals
  • Support new business development, due diligence, and transaction execution
  • Perform tasks assigned and managed by senior staff, including drafting internal and external documents and marketing materials
  • Build financial models and conduct due diligence
  • Execute transactions
  • Work with clients, attorneys, investors, interested parties, and senior professionals on a day-to-day basis
  • Coach and mentor Analysts or Interns
  • Build cross-functional relationships within CIB

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS degree
  • Minimum of 4 years of related work experience
  • Strong knowledge of investment banking, market, industry sector, and/or financial products
  • Mastery of financial and accounting concepts for creating or reviewing in-depth financial models involved in transactions
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills and interpersonal relationship management
  • Solid analytical and sales skills
  • English language fluency required
  • MBA degree with a Finance focus (preferred)
  • 6+ years of related work experience (preferred)
