About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide an industry-leading client service experience in person and by phone
- Develop and expand new and existing client relationships
- Provide financial solutions based on consultative conversations
- Refer clients to other business partners for additional growth opportunities
- Cross-train and perform required teller duties as needed
- Handle routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution, and sales functions for deposit, credit, convenience, and other products and services
- Meet or exceed client service and individual/branch sales targets
- Conduct consultative conversations and refer complex client needs or financial goals to internal specialists
- Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines
- Attend sales, service, and product knowledge meetings, training classes, and web-based learning
- Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications
- Follow internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies
- Engage clients during transactions, uncover needs, greet clients, and help them navigate the branch
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent education
- 2 years of client sales and service experience
- Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office
- Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment, including applicable NMLS background check and ongoing regulatory requirements
- Ability to multi-task under time constraints
- Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs, including temporary assignment or locale changes
- Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours; occasional travel and overnights may be included
- English language fluency required
