About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and implement a defined Digital, Client Experience, and Marketing (DCXM) Governance program
- Align and enforce the risk management framework, fulfill enterprise program requirements, and oversee regulatory adherence
- Manage engagements on behalf of DCXM and provide expert representation with DCXM Leadership, Governance and Control Organization, Legal, Compliance, Truist Audit Services, Enterprise Technology, and other stakeholders
- Develop, administer, and oversee the fraud and authentication governance program for digital, branch, and ATM platforms
- Develop and prioritize roadmaps, coordinate risk assessments, conduct strategic planning, and engage centralized Fraud and Authentication teams
- Lead cross-functional risk and governance projects to ensure collaboration and successful execution
- Oversee relationships with business owners and technology leads and support risk management plans
- Advise and challenge stakeholders regarding new, changed, or discontinued business activity
- Monitor and challenge current fraud and authentication systems and processes
- Identify and advocate for solutions that deliver value and mitigate risk
- Promote ownership of gaps, self-identified issues, and risk acceptance; advise on remediation strategies
- Maintain collaborative partnerships across division leadership, risk advisors, legal, compliance, audit, and other partners
- Present difficult topics, troubleshoot issues, and develop alternate solutions to achieve goals
- Serve as an individual contributor
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance or related field or equivalent education and related training and work-related experience
- 10+ years experience in financial services industry, preferably with a large financial services firm in Operations or Risk Management related areas
- In depth knowledge of key risk disciplines and regulations in the banking industry
- Ability to effectively prioritize complex projects and adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and solve problems in a heavily matrixed corporate environment
- Ability to work strategically and tactically while overseeing details
- Excellent leadership ability and sound decision-making skills
- Strong business acumen and organizational agility
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with executive management and regulators
- Profound sense of ethics and ability to deal with pressure from all areas of the business
- Demonstrated executive level presence with expert level verbal and written communication skills
- Strong skills in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, Project)
- English language fluency required
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Professional certification or license preferred
- Experience in the financial services industry and related division preferred
