About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and implement cybersecurity solutions protecting critical assets
- Perform threat modeling, security testing, and penetration testing
- Integrate and configure information security technologies in production environments
- Refine configuration patterns, automation, and handoff steps
- Serve as a technical escalation point for challenging security issues
- Investigate root causes and develop reusable fixes
- Evaluate security threats, tools, and design options
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams on security architecture, secure-by-design practices, and governance controls
- Develop and maintain security baselines, guardrails, and control implementations
- Lead technical execution of incident response and basic forensic activities
- Provide guidance, coaching, and informal training to security engineers and technical teammates
- Lead significant security engineering workstreams and end-to-end processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in security engineering or related cybersecurity roles
- Advanced knowledge in cybersecurity principles, theories, and concepts
- Proven experience in software development lifecycle security practices
- Advanced knowledge of threat modeling, security testing, and penetration testing
- Experience implementing and managing complex information security technologies
- Must work in one of the specified offices 5 days a week
- English language fluency required
- Must be authorized to work without employer sponsorship or immigration-related support
- Banking or financial services experience preferred
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) strongly preferred
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services, Active Directory Federation Services, Active Directory Certificate Services, DHCP, DNS, DFS, KMS, Identity Manager, Remote Desktop Licensing, Quest product suite, Hewlett Packard Enterprise physical servers, Dell physical servers, and Windows Server operating systems preferred
- PowerShell scripting knowledge and ability to write customized scripts preferred
- Knowledge of networking and firewall rulesets preferred
