Key responsibilities & impact
  • Implement advanced technical and cybersecurity capabilities across the software development lifecycle
  • Apply threat modeling, security testing, and penetration testing approaches on assigned systems
  • Execute and enhance cybersecurity technologies by baselining systems, monitoring results, and adjusting configurations and processes
  • Implement cybersecurity solutions protecting critical assets and contribute to design and configuration decisions
  • Perform threat modeling, security testing, and penetration testing for assigned platforms and services
  • Integrate and configure information security technologies in test and production environments
  • Investigate escalated security issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement practical fixes
  • Review security threats, tools, and design options and provide input on technical plans and priorities
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teammates on security guidelines, secure-by-design practices, and governance controls
  • Implement and update security baselines, guardrails, and control configurations to support regulatory and policy compliance
  • Execute incident response and basic forensic activities using established playbooks and approved tooling
  • Share knowledge and provide informal guidance during code reviews, design discussions, and pairing sessions
  • Plan and manage work to meet objectives and milestones while pursuing self-development and improving effectiveness

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in security engineering or related cybersecurity roles
  • Developing knowledge in cybersecurity principles, theories, and concepts
  • Experience in software development lifecycle security practices
  • Proficiency in implementing and managing information security technologies
  • Experience with security automation, orchestration, and advanced threat detection tools
  • Familiarity with emerging cybersecurity technologies, industry trends, and strategic risk management
