About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Implement and contribute to short-term tactical and operational plans
- Lead the development and deployment of AI models and data architectures to enhance business processes and system performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into business applications and workflows
- Conduct experiments and assess AI initiative performance to drive continuous improvement
- Support innovation efforts by contributing to intellectual property and advancing AI capabilities
- Manage a small to mid-sized AI and data team consisting of lower-level management and experienced individual contributors
- Develop and enforce AI and data governance standards aligned with organizational objectives and compliance requirements
- Coach and mentor teammates to build AI expertise and foster a data-driven culture
- Improve AI and data processes and systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify real-world problems and apply AI and analytics for actionable insights
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Software Engineering, a related field, or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in AI and data
- Experience managing teams and delivering AI and data-driven solutions
- Strong knowledge of AI models, data architectures, and analytics methodologies
- English language fluency required
- Advanced degree in a relevant technical or business discipline (preferred)
- Experience in the financial services industry (preferred)
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and data governance frameworks (preferred)
- Knowledge of emerging trends in AI and data (preferred)
- Demonstrated expertise architecting and delivering production-grade AI/ML and agentic AI solutions using Amazon SageMaker, AWS Bedrock and AgentCore, and Azure OpenAI (preferred)
