About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist Treasury Solutions sales in closing deals involving multiple technically complex products
  • Drive business development and revenue growth for assigned products and complex technical solutions
  • Support cross-divisional solution development priorities for Treasury Solutions products and services
  • Recommend actions to monetize new and existing products and services
  • Serve as a subject matter resource for Sales Officers across cash/treasury management, commercial deposits, retail payments, international services, and payroll services
  • Act as primary technical product expert across channels and lines of business
  • Engineer and articulate strategic product alternatives to C-level executives and business owners
  • Lead stakeholders and deal teams for complex payment business opportunities
  • Participate in sales calls to identify needs and demonstrate Truist’s value proposition
  • Manage technical evaluation, product demonstrations, competitive positioning, objection resolution, closing, implementation support, and follow-up
  • Consult with Product Management on product ideas, applications, competitive intelligence, concept testing, and product launches
  • Track industry trends and deliver internal and external presentations
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Treasury Management training
  • Participate in focus groups and business case development
  • Help clients transition from paper to electronic offerings
  • Facilitate whiteboard sessions to reengineer Payables and Receivables processes
  • Advise corporate clients on finance and treasury transformation, technology enhancements, and end-to-end implementation of treasury and payment solutions
  • Perform or support treasury, AP/AR, and IT integration activities in corporate environments
  • Facilitate collaborative sessions and ethnographic research to optimize Payables and Receivables workflows and technology integration
  • Support proposal teams with complex RFP/RFI integration responses

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent education and related training
  • Ten years of financial institutional experience, including eight years of experience in Treasury Management specifically on the consulting side
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)
  • Consultative sales ability and presentation skills for small and large audiences
  • Knowledge of corporate treasury operations, working capital management, domestic and international payments, collection and clearing systems, and supporting technologies
  • Mastery of technology concepts and applications, including data transmission protocols, system integration, security, data formats, treasury workstations, ERP and TMS systems
  • Experience transitioning clients from paper to electronic alternatives
  • Ability to quantify solution benefits in terms of financial and business process value
  • Ability to identify unfilled client needs and apply products creatively as business solutions
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in XMLSpy, Postman, Swagger, and OpenAPI Tools
  • Advanced knowledge of RTP, Zelle, Virtual Card, Integrated Payables, FX solutions, Integrated Receivables, and Lockbox
  • Expertise in API integration and embedded finance
  • Experience supporting RFP/RFI responses for complex integration questions
  • Understanding of ISO, ANSI X12/EDI, ISO 20022, BAI/BAI2 CAMT, SWIFT Message Types, NACHA, and other payment/data transmission standards
  • English language fluency required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify and Right to Work information provided)
