About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver day-to-day operational support for assigned technology platforms, infrastructure, and systems
- Administer and support hardware, software, databases, and end-user technology
- Coordinate routine operational activities with other technology teams
- Monitor system performance, alerts, and queues; resolve issues within scope and escalate complex problems
- Support installation planning by managing schedules, tracking readiness tasks and dependencies, and coordinating with internal teams and vendors
- Follow approved standards, policies, and procedures supporting compliance, security, and risk management
- Participate in maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting using runbooks and documented steps
- Document requests, workarounds, and resolutions
- Contribute input on recurring issues and trends to help plan operational improvements and small-scale technology initiatives
- Provide technical assistance and training to lower-level support teammates
- Highlight issues and trends to senior teammates and support operational continuity
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma and a minimum of 4 years of experience in technology operations or related technical support roles
- Working knowledge of IT infrastructure components including hardware, software, and networks
- Familiarity with standard operating procedures and compliance requirements in technology environments
- 5+ years of navigating in mainframe z/OS environment (TSO, SDFS, JES2, Initiators, etc) (preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as batch analyst or mainframe console operator in large-scale enterprise environments (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience with ESP batch scheduler product (preferred)
- 5+ years navigating mainframe environment (z/OS, TSO, SDSF, ESP, SYSLOG) (preferred)
- Understanding of mainframe JCL for job execution and system initiators (preferred)
- Experience operating within ITIL-based environments and change management processes (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills (preferred)
- English language fluency required
- Must be able to work 1st shift (United States of America)
