About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support day-to-day operations for assigned technology platforms, infrastructure, and systems
  • Administer and support hardware, software, databases, and end-user technology
  • Coordinate routine operational activities with other technology teams
  • Monitor system performance, alerts, and queues; resolve issues within scope and escalate complex problems
  • Support installation planning by managing schedules, tracking readiness tasks and dependencies, and coordinating with internal teams and vendors
  • Follow approved standards, policies, and procedures supporting compliance, security, and risk management
  • Participate in scheduled maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting using runbooks and documented steps
  • Document requests, workarounds, and resolutions
  • Contribute input on recurring issues and trends to support operational improvements and technology initiatives
  • Provide technical assistance and training to lower-level support teammates
  • Highlight issues and trends to senior teammates and support seamless service delivery and operational continuity

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma and a minimum of 4 years of experience in technology operations or related technical support roles
  • Working knowledge of IT infrastructure components including hardware, software, and networks
  • Familiarity with standard operating procedures and compliance requirements in technology environments
  • 5+ years of navigating in mainframe z/OS environment (TSO, SDFS, JES2, Initiators, etc.) (preferred)
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as batch analyst or mainframe console operator in large-scale enterprise environments (preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience with ESP batch scheduler product (preferred)
  • 5+ years navigating mainframe environment (z/OS, TSO, SDSF, ESP, SYSLOG) (preferred)
  • Understanding of mainframe JCL for job execution and system initiators (preferred)
  • Experience operating within ITIL-based environments and change management processes (preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills (preferred)
  • English language fluency required
  • Must be able to work 1st shift in the United States of America
