About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver day-to-day operational support for assigned technology platforms, infrastructure, and systems
Administer and support hardware, software, databases, and end-user technology
Coordinate routine operational activities with other technology teams
Monitor system performance, alerts, and queues; resolve issues within scope and escalate complex problems
Support installation planning by managing schedules, tracking readiness tasks and dependencies, addressing non-routine planning issues, and coordinating with internal teams and vendors
Follow and reinforce standards, policies, and procedures supporting compliance, security, and risk management
Participate in scheduled maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting using runbooks and documented steps
Document requests, workarounds, and resolutions
Contribute input on recurring issues and trends to assess operational needs and plan improvements
Provide technical assistance and training to lower-level support teammates
Highlight issues and trends to senior teammates and support operational continuity

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma
Minimum of 4 years of experience in technology operations or related technical support roles
Working knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including hardware, software, and networks
Familiarity with standard operating procedures and compliance requirements in technology environments
Preferred: 5+ years navigating a mainframe z/OS environment, including TSO, SDFS, JES2, and Initiators
Preferred: 5+ years of hands-on experience as a batch analyst or mainframe console operator in large-scale enterprise environments
Preferred: 5+ years of experience with ESP batch scheduler product
Preferred: 5+ years navigating a mainframe environment, including z/OS, TSO, SDSF, ESP, and SYSLOG
Understanding of mainframe JCL for job execution and system initiators
Experience operating within ITIL-based environments and change management processes
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to work 1st shift in the United States of America
