About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support technology solutions meeting business needs and data requirements for the Enterprise Fraud Management group
- Enable the Card Fraud Strategy Analytics team through technology and data solutions
- Partner with business product owners, users, providers, vendors, applications, architecture teams, and technology tool teams
- Drive requirements elicitation for work efforts of all sizes and complexity
- Lead systems analysis through the enterprise level of business processes and systems
- Provide project and portfolio management for smaller projects and business enhancements
- Serve as a liaison between lines of business and Technology Delivery teams
- Identify, document, communicate, analyze, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements
- Facilitate requirements elicitation sessions and walkthroughs
- Perform current-state analysis with Fraud and Enterprise Architects
- Develop acceptance criteria and plans for user acceptance testing
- Prioritize and request data capture in enterprise repositories, including Data Lake and Snowflake
- Support Card Fraud Data Delivery Team initiatives and design interim and long-term solutions
- Work with vendors supplying data for Card Fraud needs
- Research data availability, sourcing, quality, relationships, and lineage
- Source enterprise data with other Data Delivery teams
- Define and refine data architecture and technology choices with engineers, data scientists, and data office leadership
- Analyze Informatica and Ab Initio ETL codebases, document transformation logic, and convert them into scalable Talend ETL jobs
- Support migration and modernization from legacy ETL tools to Talend and Snowflake
- Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines into Snowflake using Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers
- Optimize Snowflake data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with data engineering teams on data quality, governance, lineage, and reconciliation
- Direct engineering and deployment of delivery projects according to technical requirements and schedules
- Oversee planning, design, engineering, testing, and deployment of application projects
- Adapt plans to operational challenges and resolve evolving technical and business needs related to new fraud attacks
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field with 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and training
- In-depth knowledge of information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement IT best practices
- Hands-on experience with Talend ETL and Snowflake data platform
- Ability to analyze, understand, and convert Informatica and Ab Initio ETL workflows into Talend jobs
- Working knowledge of Snowflake architecture, including databases, schemas, virtual warehouses, and performance optimization
- Understanding of Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers)
- Experience with Talend Data Integration and Snowflake cloud data platform
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT migration strategies
- Experience with Agile/Lean methodologies
- Experience planning, facilitating, eliciting, documenting, and managing business, functional, and technical requirements
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Understanding of ETL architecture, data integration, and big data concepts
- Experience with transactional data and large datasets
- Knowledge of Snowflake optimization techniques, including clustering, partitioning, query tuning, and cost optimization
- Experience with Talend orchestration, scheduling, and end-to-end pipeline development
- Experience with data lake migrations, cloud data platforms, and enterprise data modernization initiatives
- Understanding of financial fraud and data required to identify and prevent attacks
- English language fluency required
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience to include six years of information technology experience is listed as a preferred qualification
