About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Independently design, develop, test, and maintain complex software components and services
  • Implement advanced features and enhancements using coding standards, architectural patterns, and development best practices
  • Lead code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams on technical initiatives and timely solution delivery
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex software defects and production issues using root-cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support
  • Apply secure coding practices, testing strategies, and documentation standards
  • Mentor and support junior engineers
  • Use and contribute to existing frameworks, tools, and technologies to improve application development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field with 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and training
  • In-depth knowledge of information systems
  • Ability to identify, apply, and implement IT best practices
  • Strongly preferred: Angular
  • Strongly preferred: .NET APIs
  • Strongly preferred: C#
  • Strongly preferred: Entity Framework/MS SQL
  • Strongly preferred: Test Driven Development (UI and Backend)
  • Strongly preferred: SAFe Agile
  • Preferred: Master’s Degree or MBA
  • Preferred: Certification in Six Sigma Green Belt, CQIA, or similar process improvement methodologies
  • Preferred: Previous experience in the banking or financial services industry
  • Preferred: Experience working in Agile development environments
  • Ability to work all scheduled hours, including overtime as directed and required by business need
  • Minimal travel, up to 10%
  • English language fluency required
