About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Attract, source, and acquire top talent to meet organizational workforce needs
  • Support talent acquisition across Truist Wholesale lines of business, including Commercial & Middle Market Banking, Treasury Payments, Truist Wealth, Credit Delivery, and Truist Asset Finance
  • Partner with senior business leaders to understand strategic talent needs, advise on hiring strategies, and deliver talent solutions
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, interview management, offer consultation, and candidate engagement
  • Contribute to workforce planning, talent strategy, and organizational staffing initiatives
  • Conduct talent screenings, assessments, and reference checks
  • Coordinate job advertising and posting efforts internally, externally, and with third-party recruiting agencies
  • Build and maintain talent pools and communities through internet mining and database management
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and training to junior talent acquisition teammates
  • Provide industry, market, and peer group insights to inform talent strategy and future talent needs
  • Organize and participate in employment fairs and campus recruiting events
  • Recommend and implement recruitment process improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related/business experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional recruiting experience
  • Ability to clearly articulate the organization's value proposition, mission, values, and strategic competitive advantages
  • Practical knowledge of recruiting processes, risk, and compliance
  • Strong business acumen and organizational savvy to anticipate future talent needs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access
  • English language fluency required
  • Experience working in the financial services industry (preferred)
  • Previous recruiting experience in an OFCCP-regulated industry (preferred)
  • Experience working for an agency or recruiting search firm (preferred)
  • Expertise in recruiting databases such as Workday and Phenom, and proficiency in internet mining techniques (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Vendor Management Systems, Applicant Tracking Systems, CRM, and video interviewing technology (preferred)
  • Experience with candidate sourcing and building talent pools and communities (preferred)
