About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide support for Wholesale Payments Sales strategy, execution, risk, and performance functions
  • Demonstrate and act in accordance with Truist Purpose, Mission, Values, Code of Ethics, and risk management policies
  • Develop and maintain partnerships across Wholesale Payments, the Line of Business, and the Enterprise
  • Develop, maintain, and execute strategic portfolio planning with the relationship team
  • Schedule and lead or participate in pre-call planning meetings and prepare materials
  • Serve as notetaker, active listener, closer, and/or leader during client and prospect meetings
  • Prepare advisory calling materials, including discovery, pitches, demos, product materials, working capital analyses, financial modeling, ROI analyses, and business reviews
  • Schedule post-call debriefs, provide notes and feedback, and execute delegated responsibilities
  • Maintain Salesforce data integrity, including call reports, client information, and sales pipelines
  • Support pitch, negotiation, and close stages through pricing proformas, pricing disclosures, commercial card documentation, RFP submissions, digital and product demos, and product knowledge
  • Support accurate, smooth, and expedient client onboarding
  • Define and execute a personal and career development plan

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • One to three year(s) of Financial Services experience
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of adaptability and flexibility
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to balance short-term deliverables against long-term projects
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Software Products
  • English language fluency required
  • Up to 25% travel may be required
