About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of assigned monies
  • Deliver superior quality service by identifying and understanding clients' financial needs
  • Perform complex and standardized transactions, with assistance as necessary
  • Educate clients on ATMs, online banking, and mobile banking
  • Support sales through outbound client calls, checking for client offers, identifying needs, fulfilling needs, or referring clients to appropriate team members or specialists
  • Support Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities
  • Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines
  • Attend sales, service, and product knowledge meetings and applicable training and web-based learning
  • Follow internal controls, operational procedures, risk management policies, and current compliance guidelines
  • Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution
  • Offer applicable products and services to clients and prospects
  • Handle work volume according to branch demands

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Two years of teller, cash handling, or client service experience
  • Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects
  • Ability to master personal computer keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation
  • Ability to multi-task under time constraints
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
  • Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs, including temporary assignment or locale changes
  • Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours; occasional travel and overnights may be included
  • English language fluency required
