About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and properly handling assigned monies
- Deliver superior quality service by identifying and understanding clients’ financial needs
- Support sales and service activities, especially outbound calling and Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities
- Engage clients in courteous conversations and conduct complex and standardized transactions
- Educate clients on ATMs, Online Banking, and Mobile Banking
- Participate in client outreach, check client offers, identify needs, fulfill needs, or refer clients to appropriate branch team members or specialists
- Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines
- Attend sales, service, product knowledge meetings, training classes, and web-based learning
- Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies
- Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution
- Offer applicable products and services to clients and prospects
- Handle a proportionate volume of work based on branch demands
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Two years of teller, cash handling, or client service experience
- Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects
- Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation
- Ability to multi-task under time constraints
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
- Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs, including temporary assignment or locale changes
- Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours; occasional travel and overnights may be included
- English language fluency required
