About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of all monies assigned
Deliver superior quality service by identifying and understanding clients’ financial needs
Support sales and service activities, including outbound calling and Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities
Provide a distinctive client experience through courteous conversations and complex and standardized transactions
Educate clients on ATMs, Online Banking, and Mobile Banking
Participate in client outreach, check for client offers, identify needs and opportunities, and fulfill or refer client needs
Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines
Advance individual and product knowledge through meetings, training classes, and web-based learning
Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies
Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution
Offer applicable products and services to clients and prospects

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent education
Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience
Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects
Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation
Ability to multi-task under time constraints
Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required, including temporary assignment or locale changes
Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours; occasional travel and overnights may be included
English language fluency required
Preferred: One year of client relationship building or sales experience
Preferred: Knowledge of advanced or complex branch transactions, risk management and loss prevention
Preferred: Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building
Preferred: General understanding of bank operations, policies and procedures
