About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete client transactions accurately and efficiently while properly handling assigned monies
- Deliver high-quality service by identifying and understanding clients’ financial needs
- Conduct complex and standardized transactions while engaging clients courteously
- Educate clients on ATMs, online banking, and mobile banking solutions
- Support sales through outbound client calls and identifying offers, needs, and opportunities
- Refer clients to appropriate branch team members or specialists
- Participate in Integrated Relationship Management activities and Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines
- Attend sales, service, product knowledge, training, and web-based learning sessions
- Follow internal controls, operational procedures, risk management policies, and current compliance guidelines
- Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution
- Offer applicable products and services to clients and prospects
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Two years of teller, cash handling, or client service experience
- Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to master personal computer keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation
- Ability to multi-task under time constraints
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs, including temporary assignment or locale changes
- Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours; occasional travel and overnights may be required
- English language fluency required
- Preferred: one year of client relationship building or sales experience
- Preferred: knowledge of advanced or complex branch transactions, risk management, and loss prevention
- Preferred: experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and building client relationships
- Preferred: general understanding of bank operations, policies, and procedures
