About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete client transactions accurately and efficiently while properly handling assigned monies
- Deliver superior quality service and identify clients’ financial needs
- Support sales and service activities, including outbound calling and Integrated Relationship Management activities
- Provide a distinctive client experience through courteous conversation and complex or standardized transactions
- Educate clients on ATMs, online banking, and mobile banking
- Participate in client outreach, check client offers, identify needs, fulfill needs, or refer clients to appropriate branch team members or specialists
- Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines
- Attend sales, service, and product knowledge meetings and training
- Follow internal controls, operational procedures, risk management policies, and current compliance guidelines
- Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution
- Offer applicable products and services to clients and prospects
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Two years of teller, cash handling, or client service experience
- Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to master personal computer keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation
- Ability to multitask under time constraints
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs, including temporary assignment or locale changes
- Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours; occasional travel and overnights may be included
- English language fluency required
