About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete client transactions accurately and efficiently while properly handling assigned monies
- Deliver superior quality service and identify clients’ financial needs
- Support sales and service activities, including outbound calling and Integrated Relationship Management activities
- Engage clients, conduct complex and standardized transactions, and uncover needs
- Educate clients on ATMs, Online Banking, and Mobile Banking
- Participate in client outreach, check client offers, identify needs, fulfill needs, or refer clients to branch team members or specialists
- Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines
- Advance individual and product knowledge through meetings, training classes, and web-based learning
- Follow internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies
- Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution
- Offer applicable products and services to clients and prospects
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Two years of teller, cash handling, or client service experience
- Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to master personal computer keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation
- Ability to multitask under time constraints
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
- Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs, including temporary assignment or locale changes
- Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours
- Occasional travel and overnights may be required
- English language fluency required
