About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of all monies assigned
- Deliver superior quality service by identifying and understanding clients’ financial needs
- Support sales and service activities, including outbound calling and Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities
- Engage clients in courteous conversation while conducting complex and standardized transactions
- Educate clients on ATMs, Online Banking, and Mobile Banking
- Participate in client outreach, check for client offers, identify needs and opportunities, and fulfill needs or refer clients to appropriate team members or specialists
- Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines
- Advance individual and product knowledge through meetings, training classes, and web-based learning
- Follow internal controls, operational procedures, risk management policies, and current compliance guidelines
- Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution
- Offer applicable products and services to clients and prospects
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Two years of teller, cash handling, or client service experience
- Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects
- Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation
- Ability to multi-task under time constraints
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
- Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required, including temporary assignment or locale changes
- Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours; occasional travel and overnights may be included
- English language fluency required
