About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of assigned monies
Deliver superior quality service by identifying and understanding clients’ financial needs
Perform complex and standardized transactions, with assistance as necessary
Educate clients on ATMs, Online Banking, and Mobile Banking
Support sales through outbound client calls, checking client offers, identifying needs, and fulfilling or referring opportunities
Support Integrated Relationship Management activities
Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines
Advance individual and product knowledge through meetings, training classes, and web-based learning
Follow internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies
Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution
Offer applicable products and services to clients and prospects

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent education
Two years of teller, cash handling, or client service experience
Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to master personal computer keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation
Ability to multi-task under time constraints
Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs, including temporary assignment or locale changes
Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours; occasional travel and overnights may be included
English language fluency required
