About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of all assigned monies
- Deliver superior quality service by identifying and understanding clients’ financial needs
- Engage clients in courteous conversations and conduct complex and standardized transactions
- Educate clients on ATMs, Online Banking, and Mobile Banking
- Support team sales processes through outbound client calls, checking client offers, and identifying needs or opportunities
- Fulfill client needs or refer clients to appropriate branch team members or specialists
- Support Integrated Relationship Management activities
- Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines
- Attend sales, service, product knowledge, training, and web-based learning sessions
- Follow internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies
- Serve as a secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution
- Offer applicable products and services to clients and prospects
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Two years of teller, cash handling, or client service experience
- Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects
- Ability to master personal computer keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation
- Ability to multitask under time constraints
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
- Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs, including temporary assignment or locale changes
- Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours; occasional travel and overnights may be included
- English language fluency required
- Preferred: One year of client relationship building or sales experience
- Preferred: Knowledge of advanced or complex branch transactions, risk management, and loss prevention
- Preferred: Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building
- Preferred: General understanding of bank operations, policies, and procedures
