About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of monies
- Deliver superior quality service by identifying and understanding clients’ financial needs
- Support sales and service activities, including outbound calling and Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities
- Engage clients, conduct complex and standardized transactions, and uncover client needs
- Educate clients on ATMs, Online Banking, and Mobile Banking
- Participate in client outreach, check client offers, identify needs, and fulfill or refer opportunities
- Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines
- Attend sales, service, product knowledge, training, and web-based learning sessions
- Follow internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies
- Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution
- Offer applicable products and services to clients and prospects
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Two years of teller, cash handling, or client service experience
- Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to master personal computer keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation
- Ability to multitask under time constraints
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office software products
- Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs, including temporary assignment or locale changes
- Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours; occasional travel and overnights may be included
- English language fluency required
