About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete client transactions accurately and efficiently while properly handling assigned monies
- Deliver superior client service and identify clients’ financial needs
- Conduct complex and standardized transactions and perform more complex transactions with assistance as needed
- Educate clients on ATMs, Online Banking, and Mobile Banking
- Participate in outbound client calls and support the team sales process
- Check client offers, identify needs and opportunities, fulfill needs, or refer clients to appropriate branch team members or specialists
- Support Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities
- Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines
- Attend sales, service, product knowledge, and applicable training meetings and classes
- Follow internal controls, operational procedures, risk management policies, and compliance guidelines
- Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution
- Offer applicable products and services to clients and prospects
- Handle a proportionate volume of work based on branch demands
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Two years of teller, cash handling, or client service experience
- Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to master personal computer keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation
- Ability to multi-task under time constraints
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
- Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs, including temporary assignment or locale changes
- Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours; occasional travel and overnights may be included
- English language fluency required
