About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Complete client transactions accurately and efficiently while handling assigned monies
  • Deliver superior client service and identify clients’ financial needs
  • Perform complex and standardized transactions, with assistance as necessary
  • Educate clients on ATMs, Online Banking, and Mobile Banking
  • Support sales through outbound calls, checking client offers, and identifying needs or opportunities
  • Fulfill client needs or refer clients to appropriate branch team members or specialists

  • Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines
  • Attend sales, service, and product knowledge meetings and applicable training

  • Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution
  • Offer applicable products and services to clients and prospects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Two years of teller, cash handling, or client service experience
  • Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to master personal computer keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation
  • Ability to multi-task under time constraints
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
  • Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs, including temporary assignment or locale changes
  • Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours; occasional travel and overnights may be included
  • English language fluency required
