About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Complete client transactions accurately and efficiently while properly handling assigned monies
  • Deliver high-quality service and identify clients’ financial needs
  • Perform complex and standardized transactions, with assistance when necessary
  • Educate clients on ATMs, online banking, and mobile banking
  • Support sales through outbound client calls and identification of client needs and opportunities
  • Refer clients to appropriate branch team members or specialists
  • Participate in Integrated Relationship Management activities and Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines
  • Attend sales, service, product knowledge, training, and web-based learning sessions
  • Follow internal controls, operational procedures, risk management policies, and current compliance guidelines
  • Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution
  • Offer applicable products and services to clients and prospects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Two years of teller, cash handling, or client service experience
  • Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to master personal computer keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation
  • Ability to multitask under time constraints
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs, including temporary assignment or locale changes
  • Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours; occasional travel and overnights may be included
  • English language fluency required
