About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with two or more Wealth Advisors to deliver advice and solutions to high net worth clients
- Proactively identify new Wealth prospects and support business development efforts
- Develop pitch books
- Develop and deepen client relationships through needs-based, high-level client service
- Deliver the full suite of Truist Wealth solutions
- Coordinate comprehensive wealth management advice and solutions with Wealth Advisor teammates
- Apply personal financial planning and financial advisory concepts for affluent and high net worth individuals
- Build relationships with internal and external partners and centers of influence, including CPAs, attorneys, civic associations, and other organizations
- Stay current on economic, legal, financial planning, investment, market, and business trends affecting affluent clients
- Serve as a personal financial planning and advisory resource for clients, attorneys, and CPAs
- Maintain legal, operating, regulatory, audit, compliance, and risk controls
- Use sound judgment regarding expenses and operational efficiency
- Complete required in-person, online, and virtual training
- Progress to a Wealth Advisor role managing a book of business after 18 to 24 successful months
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required with an overall minimum 3.0 GPA
- Great networking, business development, and relationship building skills
- Strong work ethic and strong drive to succeed; competitive, self-motivated, and results-oriented
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Must successfully obtain and maintain the SIE, Series 7, 63, 65, Life, Health, and Variable licenses during the first 130 days of the program
- Maintains proper FINRA licenses including Series 7, Series 66, and the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam as applicable, plus Life, Health, and Variable insurance licenses
- Must meet applicable continuing education requirements
- Ability to thrive and actively participate on a team
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
- Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment, including new or transfer of registration and applicable NMLS acceptable background check
- English language fluency required
