About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Report to the Truist Wealth Onboarding Manager
- Develop and manage the on-site execution of onboarding events for newly recruited Financial Advisors or teams
- Maximize the profitability of the Firm's investment in newly recruited Financial Advisors or teams
- Develop and train Wealth Brokerage Onboarding and Transition Specialists
- Manage operational aspects of business transitions and coordinate key individuals across the organization
- Serve as Project Manager during onboarding events and handle troubleshooting and action items
- Ensure onboarding activities follow established industry protocols and minimize litigation risk from the Financial Advisor's prior firm
- Manage and develop Onboarding and Transition Specialists and additional home office staff supporting onsite events
- Track asset acquisition and client documentation and adjust transition strategies as needed
- Coordinate and execute recruiting visits to the home office and develop itineraries for prospective Financial Advisors
- Develop and document operational processes and establish training materials for Financial Advisors and Client Service Associates
- Maintain living documents for onboarding events and recruiting visits
- Provide onsite transition support for 1-7 weeks at a time, including nights and weekends
- Help develop and deliver ad hoc training on systems and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent education and related training
- Five years of broker/dealer or financial services industry experience
- Strong understanding of retail brokerage products, services, operations and systems
- FINRA SIE, 7, 66, 24 examinations, or ability to acquire within 120 days of employment
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and reprioritize tasks and work well under intense pressure
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Products
- Knowledge of brokerage systems would be a plus
- Ability to do extensive travel, 1-7 weeks at a time, including weekends
- English language fluency required
