About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct industry, market, and company research to source prospect names and develop and refine prospect lists
  • Develop project materials containing industry, market, company-specific, and general economic information
  • Generate customized sales or project content for internal and external purposes
  • Track calling and marketing efforts to clients and prospects
  • Reinforce proper use of the CRM system with the coverage team and assist as needed
  • Build foundational understanding of the market, credit, products, and relationship management skills
  • Develop an increasingly complex understanding of the industry
  • Facilitate financial analysis, risk assessment, and credit structure recommendations for clients and prospects
  • Perform prudent underwriting and credit and risk administration in adherence to credit policy and requirements
  • Conduct research and evaluations to assess client, competitor, property segment, market, and industry risks and trends
  • Take ownership of projects with the assigned senior Credit Delivery leader
  • Mentor more junior teammates

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Two years of related financial services work experience
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Competitive drive and high work ethic, self-starter, team-oriented
  • Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
  • High level of adaptability and flexibility with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Solid understanding of business
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • English language fluency required
  • Minimum GPA: 3.0
  • Demonstrated work experience in finance or related field
