About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Facilitate diligence and underwriting documentation for complex and large credit relationships
  • Support credit presentation preparation and discussions with Credit Officer and final approvers
  • Coordinate legal documentation through closing and funding
  • Ensure loan agreements comply with approval documents
  • Identify and address issues in loan documentation in consultation with the Relationship Manager
  • Analyze financial statements and projections
  • Document client performance, risks, and risk mitigants for complex credits
  • Ensure Credit Process Metrics remain within prescribed tolerances
  • Manage risk evaluation and compliance requirements for assigned portfolios and prospects
  • Identify issues and follow through on remediation
  • Serve as a client and internal point of contact for the assigned portfolio, including potential site or client management visits
  • Support and mentor Credit Delivery Analysts and other Associates

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 3–4 years of Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, or Wealth Specialty business experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office software products
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of commercial real estate credit delivery principles
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities under time constraints
  • Demonstrated success working in a collaborative team environment
  • English language fluency required
