About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute sales plans and develop partnerships with lines of business and internal partners to identify and drive client and prospect sales opportunities
  • Achieve or exceed revenue and portfolio growth objectives for the assigned client portfolio
  • Foster relationships with bankers and product partners and participate in strategic client planning
  • Independently manage a portfolio of clients with payments needs
  • Develop detailed relationship plans to identify retention and new client acquisition opportunities
  • Provide working capital services and solutions, including receivables, payables, information reporting, and liquidity solutions
  • Follow applicable policies and procedures and escalate issues and risks to leadership
  • Consult with clients through email, phone, voicemail, and virtual meetings
  • Accurately report sales efforts, sales progression, sales revenue, and other administrative information
  • Meet virtually with clients to assess needs, review financial management practices, discuss cash flow cycles, and recommend solutions
  • Coordinate fulfillment and refer clients to product experts as needed
  • Manage and solve complex client servicing issues
  • Meet individual revenue, profit growth, and behavioral performance goals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience
  • 1 year of sales experience in financial services or payment solutions
  • Ability to conduct business via virtual methods, including interpersonal communication, negotiation, proactive client contact, rapport building, understanding client needs, conducting in-depth financial reviews, and communicating appropriate solutions
  • Strong knowledge of business operations and financial solutions for aligned business segmentations, including the financial services sales process and cycle
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage a large pipeline of deals in various stages
  • Self-starter with the ability to work productively without close supervision
  • English language fluency required
  • Preferred: At least 3 years of sales experience in financial services or direct experience in payment solutions
  • Preferred: Certified Treasury Professional
