About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute sales plans and develop partnerships with lines of business and internal partners to identify and drive client/prospect sales opportunities
  • Achieve or exceed revenue and portfolio growth objectives for the assigned client portfolio
  • Foster relationships with bankers and product partners and engage in strategic client planning
  • Independently manage a large portfolio of clients with complex payments needs
  • Apply expert knowledge of banking, payments solutions, and working capital concepts
  • Develop detailed relationship plans to identify retention and new client acquisition opportunities
  • Work with working capital services and solutions, including receivables, payables, information reporting, and liquidity solutions
  • Follow applicable policies and procedures and escalate issues and risks
  • Consult with clients through email, phone, voicemail, and virtual meetings
  • Report sales efforts, progression, revenue, and other administrative information accurately
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on complex Wholesale Payments solutions
  • Meet virtually with clients to assess needs, review financial management practices, discuss cash flow cycles, and recommend solutions
  • Coordinate fulfillment and refer clients to product experts as needed
  • Resolve complex client servicing issues
  • Meet individual revenue and profit growth goals
  • Mentor junior-level Consultants

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience
  • 5 years of sales experience in financial services or payment solutions
  • Must have or obtain Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) within 12 months of entering the position
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct business via virtual methods, including interpersonal communication, negotiation, proactive client contact, rapport building, understanding client needs, in-depth financial reviews, and communicating solutions
  • Strong knowledge of business operations and financial solutions for aligned business segmentations
  • Knowledge of the financial services sales process and cycle
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage a large pipeline of deals in various stages
  • Ability to work productively without close supervision
  • English language fluency required
