About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute sales plans and develop partnerships with lines of business and internal partners to identify and drive client/prospect sales opportunities
  • Achieve or exceed revenue and portfolio growth objectives for the assigned client portfolio
  • Foster relationships with bankers and product partners and engage in strategic client planning
  • Independently manage a large portfolio of clients with complex payments needs
  • Apply expert knowledge of banking, payments solutions, and working capital concepts
  • Develop detailed relationship plans to identify retention and new client acquisition opportunities
  • Advise on working capital services and solutions, including receivables, payables, information reporting, and liquidity solutions
  • Follow applicable policies and procedures and escalate issues and risks to leadership
  • Consult with clients through email, phone, voicemail, and virtual meetings
  • Report sales efforts, progression, sales revenue, and other administrative information accurately
  • Serve as a product-knowledge and best-practices leader among peers
  • Manage complex Wholesale Payments solutions for a larger, active portfolio with higher revenue expectations
  • Meet virtually with clients to assess needs, review financial management practices, discuss cash flow cycles, and recommend solutions
  • Coordinate fulfillment and refer clients to product experts as needed
  • Manage and solve complex client servicing issues
  • Meet individual revenue and profit growth goals
  • Mentor junior-level Consultants

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience
  • 5 years of sales experience in financial services or payment solutions
  • Must have or obtain Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) within 12 months of entering the position
  • Ability to conduct business via virtual methods
  • Accomplished interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
  • Proactive client contact and rapport-building skills
  • Ability to understand client needs, conduct in-depth financial reviews, and communicate suitable solutions
  • Strong knowledge of business operations and financial solutions for aligned business segments
  • Knowledge of the financial services sales process and cycle
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage a large pipeline of deals in various stages
  • Self-starter able to work productively without close supervision
  • English fluency required
  • Preferred: 7+ years in financial services or direct experience in payment solutions
  • Preferred: Deep knowledge of Wholesale Payments
  • Preferred: Certified Treasury Professional
