About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute sales plans and develop partnerships with lines of business and internal partners to identify and drive client/prospect sales opportunities
- Achieve or exceed revenue and portfolio growth objectives for the assigned client portfolio
- Foster relationships with bankers and product partners to collaborate on opportunities and engage in strategic client planning
- Independently manage a portfolio of clients with payments needs
- Participate in detailed relationship plans for clients and prospects to identify retention and new client acquisition opportunities
- Provide client working capital services and solutions, including receivables, payables, information reporting, and liquidity solutions
- Follow applicable policies and procedures and proactively escalate issues and risks to leadership
- Consult with clients through email, phone, voicemail, and virtual meetings
- Accurately report sales efforts, sales progression, sales revenue, and other administrative information
- Meet virtually with clients to assess needs, review financial management practices and solutions, conduct cash flow cycle conversations, and recommend solutions
- Coordinate fulfillment processes and make referrals to product experts as needed
- Manage and solve complex client servicing issues using Truist resources
- Meet individual revenue/profit growth and behavioral performance goals
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience
- 1 year of sales experience in financial services or payment solutions
- Demonstrated ability to conduct business via virtual methods, including accomplished interpersonal communication, negotiation skills, proactive client contact, building rapport, understanding client needs, conducting in-depth financial reviews, and effectively communicating solutions that meet client needs
- Strong knowledge of how a business operates and the full set of financial solutions needed by the aligned business segmentations, including the financial services sales process and cycle
- Exceptionally strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a large pipeline of deals in various stages
- Self-starter with the ability to work productively without close supervision
- English fluency required
- Certified Treasury Professional certification preferred
