About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the General Manager in leading and supervising store personnel
  • Partner with the General Manager to plan and implement strategies that drive service standards and positive sales results
  • Maintain brand standards in visual merchandising
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with all state-specific regulations
  • Review, communicate, and ensure compliance with company SOPs
  • Communicate SOP changes to employees with the General Manager and other leaders
  • Provide coaching, training, and development focused on company service standards and accountability
  • Monitor and maintain store inventory
  • Handle and resolve patient issues and escalations while on duty
  • Maintain professional working relationships with business partners
  • Assist the General Manager in managing the labor budget
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance
  • Support inventory tracking and management, key performance metrics, and efficient daily store operations
  • Perform other tasks assigned by management
  • Work 40–45 hours weekly with flexible hours based on store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Prior management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service area is a plus
  • Prior cash handling experience
  • Ability to train, develop and evaluate a team of 40+ employees
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff
  • Ability to uphold strict confidentiality and discretion
  • Conversational English proficiency
  • Ability to operate electronic equipment, including computers, scanners, printers, and telecommunication devices
  • Ability to comprehend safety procedures
  • Ability to analyze data and draw appropriate conclusions to inform policies and procedures
  • Ability to interact with customers and team members respectfully and politely
  • Valid driver’s license and successful MVR background check required for delivery locations only
  • Ability to pass level 1 and level 2 background checks
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to function independently with flexibility and personal integrity
  • Ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies
  • Ability to work with patrons of different ages and abilities, including those experiencing emotional distress or displaying a hostile attitude
  • Ability to move throughout the facility, including tight spaces
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, or position objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to ascend and descend stools, ladders, and steps and position self or objects at floor level
  • Visual and auditory acuity, with or without aids
